Believe it or not, there is a huge difference between the two. For consumers we use the term videographer to make conversations easier. That being said, here is the differences between the two. Keep in mind, Webster Media delivers cinematography style films.

In contrast to a videographer, a CINEMATOGRAPHER is a name that describes their attention to capturing moments and sequencing them as a story-based film. As where a videographer simply captures moments and sequences them in chronological order. All of your my second and third cinematographers at Webster Media will have been trained by me on how to shoot in my style and work on a wedding team-based project. We like to think of ourselves as professional filmmakers who shoot weddings.
